GRADE 3 NEWS

Dear Parents,

Grade 3 students have been very busy preparing for the school concert. They are so excited and can’t wait to be on the stage and performing. We also have our Grade3/4’s camp coming up and would like parents to finalise all payments by Friday, 1st September.

The Parent/Teacher interviews are about three weeks away. You will be informed about the dates and times soon. If you are unable to attend the interview day, please negotiate an alternative time to see me as I will be on long service leave next term.

I would greatly appreciate your support in making sure your child has completed their online homework as some students are not and are often asked to spend their lunch time to complete it.

“I enjoyed making Orbeez for science week. We are also learning about planets and we made some posters.

In sport, we are learning to play badminton. We pass the shuttle to each other with a racquet. It is fun.”

“I had fun playing badminton in sports. I loved the dress up day for literacy week and I painted my t-shirt during art to dress up as Wally. Music has been fun. We played music using buckets and drum sticks. In Maths we learnt about fractions. I enjoyed writing descriptions in our writing sessions.”
Milla

“This term my favourite things were the activities during Literacy week like making a postcard, dressing up as Wally, D.E.A.R- drop everything and read which was a surprise. You had to take a book everywhere around the school. In Art we do a lot of crafty things. In Maths, we learnt about fractions. It was a little bit hard at the start but now it seems easy.”
